One of my favorite things about these is that they are glass, not plastic. They look elegant, not cheap (although they are a great price!).
Hanging glass orbs and succulents were all the rage this past summer and to be able use these for weddings, or other seasons as well is a big plus.
With Christmas hanging decor orbs you can create many different scenes in minutes for a cozy beautiful look in your home.
Christmas Hanging Decor Orbs
I used these awesome supplies from Oriental Trading company to make different scenes inside the orbs.
At first, I wondered about gluing and keeping everything in place. However, there is really no need. Everything stays well. It’s not exactly like you will be swinging it around. I simply spooned in a few tablespoons of golden sand. Then I carefully added the figure into the orb adding a bit more sand on the base to keep it sturdy. Using fishing line I looped the star charm through the two holes on the orb and tied to secure.
Personally, a huge selling point for these items in my opinion (besides the great price) is the quantity you get. I was able to make 6 orbs and still had mini wreaths, trees, figures, and other craft supplies left over.
You could make these into very nice ornament gifts. If you do decide to gift, I recommend using hot glue (or glue dots) to secure the tree or figures in place. You could also make it a DIY ornament kit to the receiver.
Decorate your own home or Christmas tree, along with the additional supplies, makes for a very complete look.
